ABOUT

Based on a mash-up of true stories, four band-mates come together to rise up in the era begrudgingly known as “grunge.” Grunge Musical features songs from the never before released album of the band Charley Django recorded in Dancing Dog Studio and the Dutch Boy Warehouse Oakland between 1993 to 1995.
After the 2020 pandemic shut down live performances, the original stage version took a pioneering approach and adapt the script into a radio drama / podcast. In the challenge to replace the impact lost from staging, lighting and choreography,the audio-drama features a high quality multi-track cinematic soundscape and professional music production.

The original members of the band "Charley Django" formed in the mid-1990's and reunited to re-record their demo album "Warehouse Songs" for the musical version of their original songs.  They have toured internationally with major label popular music artists, played on Billboard 200 top ten albums and have been nominated for Grammy awards.
